“And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” Acts 20:32

D3 Agents Children’s Ministry (Pre-K-4th Grade) at Good Samaritan UMC is a fun and interactive learning environment where kids are discipled to Discover, Decide, and Defend their faith in Jesus Christ.

Meets: Sundays at 10:30am in the Quad*

All Children (Pre-K – 4th Grade) meet in the Quad for a large assembly with age-appropriate praise & worship music and a video Bible story.

Children then break into small groups:

D3 Mini-Agents (Pre-K – 1st Grade) meet for hands-on learning crafts and games that
reinforce the Bible story lesson.

D3 Mighty-Agents (2nd – 4th Grade) meet for hands-on learning crafts, games and skits
that reinforce the Bible story lesson.

For the final ten minutes, all children gather for a final large assembly. They enjoy a snack during the final song, missions video or local children’s mission project and receive Activity Sheets and Big Picture Cards to take home to reinforce the Bible lesson for the week.

The D3 Agents Children’s Ministry program is a chronological journey through the Bible and is designed to walk children through the entire Bible in 3 ½ years. All lessons are designed to connect Jesus to the Bible text, even Old Testament passages.

Middle School (5th – 8th Grade) are invited to attend the 10:30 D3 Mighty Agent Children’s Worship
to serve as Student Leaders.

*No programs scheduled the first Sunday of every month: Communion Sunday
Children are encouraged to sit with their parents during the sanctuary worship service on Communion Sunday. An Activity Bulletin and crayons are provided on the table just inside the sanctuary doors. During Communion services, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a Children’s Sermon with messages specifically prepared for them.

Nursery: Care is provided for children up to 3 years old during the 10:30am worship service. Parents are welcome to bring their infant into the Nursery sitting room during the service, if desired. A speaker broadcasting the service has been provided so that you can care for your infant and still hear the worship service.

Good Samaritan UMC has a Safe Sanctuary Policy and takes the safety of your child(ren) seriously. Please stop by the Registration Desk to check in or out of the Children’s Ministry area. Cell phone texts and pagers are utilized should a parent need to be contacted during the service for any reason.

Please see the Children’s Events Calendar, coming soon, for Calendar events for the Children and Tweens, as camps and monthly activities are scheduled on a regular basis.
