The United Methodist Church profess the historic Christian faith in the Triune God of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We profess that the scriptures are God’s inspired word and contained within them are all things that are necessary for salvation. We believe that Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for our sins and that on the third day he was resurrected, conquering death for all. The United Methodist Church, following its Wesleyan heritage, places specific emphasis on God’s never-ending grace which has been made available to all through Jesus Christ. It is then through this grace that we are empowered to serve the world around us.
