Sarah Jaramillo

Children’s Director

Sarah was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and grew up in Montrose, NY.  Sarah felt an early calling to work with children, earning a Social Work degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS where she also met her husband Kenny.   While in Kansas, Sarah worked in foster care.  After coming to Charlotte, Sarah spent several years working as a caseworker in the Mecklenburg County Child Protective Services. After having the first of her three sons, Sarah stepped away from social work but continued to be active working with children as a youth soccer, basketball and baseball coach, nanny and day care worker.  Sarah has also volunteered at various churches teaching Sunday school. Sarah and her family moved to Lake Wylie in March of 2007 and began attending Good Sam shortly after.  She has continued to coach her boys in sports and now works with the children of Good Sam.
