Tod Alexander

Tod was born in Charlotte and grew up in Mooresville, NC. He graduated from NC State University in Raleigh, NC.
After several years in corporate sales Tod came to an understanding of the awesome gift of forgiveness and reconciliation with God offered through the person and work of Jesus.
He soon enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte where he met Carmen. He and Carmen knew they were meant to be together after three dates and married April 12, 2003. In December of 2005 their daughter Karis was born. Even before Tod & Carmen met both sensed the calling to adopt children. In December of 2006 Caleb became the newest member of their family. A year and half later Caleb’s younger brothers, Joshua & Hosea joined the family.
Tod has been in ministry since 2000. He has served as an associate pastor, high school teacher and football coach. In 2015 he transferred into the SC United Methodist Conference and served as Associate Pastor at Bethel UMC in Spartanburg for two years.
Tod & Carmen came to Good Sam in August of 2017. They are excited to join the wonderful work God has begun at Good Sam.
If the two of them aren’t with the kids or at Good Sam you are likely to find them working out at the Y or running in the Lake Wylie community. Carmen is a certified personal trainer & running coach. She has her own fitness and healing ministry called, Fit4Him. She offers personal & group training classes.

After having the first of her three sons, Sarah stepped away from social work but continued to be active working with children as a youth soccer, basketball and baseball coach, nanny and day care worker.  Sarah has also volunteered at various churches teaching Sunday school.
